CHLOË SEVIGNY FOR OPENING CEREMONY

2008 - Present

In 2008 the actress Chloë Sevigny debuted her first collection for the international fashion retailer Opening Ceremony. to celebrate the playful spirit of their collaboration i designed this colorful custom typeface, which we used for garment labels, hang tags, shoeboxes, and totes.

The lookbook commemorating this project, was photographed by mark Borthwick and featured artwork by nine of Chloë's friends, including rita Ackerman, Dan Colen, and Spencer Sweeney. inspired by a beloved children's book, the pages are all split in the middle, allowing an endless combination of outfits. Spiral bound and sheathed in screen printed vinyl, it's an irresistible little volume.
